My name is Samy Berghol and I'm currently in my third year of a Computer Science degree at the IUT Littoral C\u00f4te d'Opale.<\/span><\/p>

I was born in Italy, then spent part of my schooling in France before completing my secondary education in Casablanca, Morocco. After passing my baccalaur\u00e9at, I decided to return to France to continue my studies in computer science in Calais.<\/span><\/p>

I chose this path because I belong to a very connected generation, fascinated by digital technologies and how they work. Very early on, I felt the need to understand how the computers and software we use every day work.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A passion for music<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Alongside my studies, I've been passionate about music for over six years. I'm a freelance music producer, composing tracks in a variety of styles, from classical music to modern productions.<\/span><\/p>

I also produce the <\/span>mixing and mastering<\/b> of my own compositions. This practice has enabled me to familiarize myself with many audio production tools and to better understand the needs of music creators.<\/span><\/p>

It was naturally through this passion that I wanted to link music and computing.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Computers and digital audio<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In order to combine these two worlds, I began to take an interest in the <\/span>development of plugins and audio tools<\/b>. I have completed several projects in <\/span>C++ with the JUCE framework<\/b>, using Visual Studio to develop plug-ins for digital audio workstations (DAWs).<\/span><\/p>

These projects enabled me to explore notions related to <\/span>audio signal processing, spectrum analysis and digital audio effects design<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On completion of my Computer Science degree, I'd like to continue my studies in <\/span>Master of Computer Science<\/b> to strengthen my software development skills, particularly in <\/span>C\/C++ and Python<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

I would also like to improve my level of English and do a <\/span>Erasmus university exchange<\/b>, to develop my language skills and discover other academic environments.<\/span><\/p>

In the longer term, the idea of creating a <\/span>Ph.D. in sound signal processing<\/b> is of particular interest to me.<\/span><\/p>

My professional goal is to join a company at the crossroads of <\/span>audio and IT<\/b>, to participate in the development of innovative tools for musical creation and to contribute to research and development in this field.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
